Weightloss after bug

SpaceCorpDirective349 · 13/09/2017 08:40

I've been slowly trying to lose my baby weight. I've been quite careful as I'm still BF my 6mo. I've basically been eating more healthy foods, less sugar, slightly less carbs, high protein meals etc. I've also got back into some gentle jogging - probably about 3-4km 2x a week, nothing too heavy. Now this has been going really well, I've felt good in myself and maintaining a steady weightloss.

However, this weekend just gone I picked up some sort of flu bug. It was horrendous. I think I've sweated my own body weight with high temps. I've still not managed to eat more than some soup but I'm starting to feel a bit more human again. I stood on the scales this morning and I've lost 2kg since Friday! So I've pretty much hit my target weight, although not quite the method I had in mind! I guess this might just be water weight? Also a bit worried could this affect my supply? Although starting to wean now anyway. Any foods I should try and eat in this situation? I can only eat small amounts.
