Plateaus are so fecking disheartening aren't they?

Have lost 13lbs in the last 3 weeks. Have around 15 more to go.

Have been consuming under my calorie limited (1200) every single day and working out like a demon, drinking 3 litres of water a day (and have completely cut out alcohol) and I'm on day 4 of being the same damn weight Sad. Period not due or anything so can't blame that. Haven't had so much as a cheat snack never mind cheat meal or cheat day. And course I've plateaued at 1lb off losing a stone Hmm.

I feel great, I look so much better. I know the numbers aren't everything and I know I'll get there but wow does a plateau have the power to make you feel like a big fat failure.

Whinge over, off to do healthy food shop and get my brain back in gear. Have booked my first spin class for tomorrow morning which I'm hoping will give my body a shake.

Eurgh.

I feel you!

Lost just under 5st 10 more lbs to go but have been floating around the same weight for the last three months (I blame holidays)!

Have you tried measuring rather than weighing?

Ive plateaued for the last couple of months too. I think it's starting again now though. I'm a weird dieter in that I do better in winter. Other people find it easier in summer with salads etc.

JesusTDC you've lost a lot of weight in a short time, it's not going to always be that fast. And four days of not losing weight is not a plateau, it's the way things go. I find I always level off a tiny bit just before my time of the month. Look at the big picture, you've done well, and it will keep happening.. Pat yourself on the back.

Thanks honey. I sometimes get impatient and lose perspective so your message helped me get a grip Smile.

Have broken the plateau and hit the one stone off marker. Feeling super motivated and am sat outside the gym about to go into my first Fat Burn class. Eek!
