I've reached a plateau. For the past month I have not lost an ounce. So the last few days week I've eaten loads of chocolates and bread type snacks. logged it all in mfp.

Anyway. Starts back today.

Skipping breakfast

Lunch - tomato soup
Dinner - something with bacon (it's probably got to be eaten today. Not exactly slimming)

What are you lot eating? Please inspire me :)

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 25/08/2017 09:24

Blondielongie · 25/08/2017 11:02

I'm going to Google omelette maker! Me too. I like the seeded ryvitas.

Well I accidentally ate half a Welsh cake this morning... Can't wait for soup. It's in the slow cooker and smells amazing.

Apple for breakfast

Lunch - chicken breast with mixed veg and a satsuma

Dinner will probably be a few bites of whatever the DC don't eat

Plus a couple of teas with sugar and tons of water

I've lost 2.5 stone and reached a plateau so need a proper kick up the arse.

I've had weetabix and banana for breakfast, chicken and salad on a wholemeal roll for lunch, mid afternoon I'll have fruit with fat free yoghurt and dinner will be a ham, mushroom and spinach omelette.

I'm on mfp too - I've been doing it for about 4 weeks now.

Breakfast - a pint of coffee.

Lunch - raw cauliflower, celery, radishes, carrot sticks and smoked hummus, then an apple.

Dinner - a Jamie Oliver recipe - baked rice with chicken and chorizo - it works out at 511 calories if shared between 4 people, and made with 600g of chicken. There's only three of us for dinner tonight, so it will be 680 calories each, if I have a third (but I'll see how much it looks like when it's done).

STGD Your workings out are just like mine! Grin

I'm adding half a sausage leftover from last night (120) and some pate on a bagel(200ish) to my lunch. I think the soup is less than 100.

And a low fat burger (140 cal) with a brioche bun (160) for dinner. Grilled bacon on top?

Well done absolutely what weight are you now? I've been 9st4 for ages. Well I was 9st 5 today. looking at the above, I can see why. I need to cut the crap! It's sneaking back in.

Thank you, blondie. I'd love to be 9st 4! Well done.

I'm 11st 6. Crept up to over 14 stone as I recovered from PND and made up for the six months of depression-induced not eating by devouring every cake and bottle of wine in sight. Ooops.

Blondielongie · 25/08/2017 17:11

It's really good to get back down to 11st 6, especially from over 14 and recovering from pnd. It's really inspirational to know its possible!!
I was around 11 and a half stone and increasing quickly when I started dieting so I'm sure you will overcome the plateau. Apparently upping the excercise helps but I'm feeling like I can't be bothered anymore. I just want to break 9st. Although maintaining is probably more important now.

I didn't have pnd, but had some other health problems after having a baby which made me want to eat loads of cake and chocolate and wine and cheese. A family member kept telling me I'd get fat but I didn't listen and kept stuffing my face. I hate being proved wrong!

Overnight oats with natural yoghurt, stewed apple, raspberries and blueberries.

A packet of 'colourful rice quinoa and vegetables' from waitrose.

Seabass with chorizo and tomatoes, green beans, broccoli, some sort of potato (not sure yet).

I almost just bought an omelette maker because of this thread, but DH said no Sad (I always seem to either burn them or they end up a sloppy mess!!).
