Has anyone done a residential weight loss boot camp? Or does anyone have an informed opinion on them either way?

I've lost 2 stone by cutting out the crap and exercising more but feel I now need a boost to move me on from the diet and exercise rut I'm currently stuck in.

I'm interested in doing some sort of residential boot camp but as there's so many out there I just don't know where to start. Some are military style, some seem to be 14hours exercise a day on a 1200cal diet to guarantee a half stone loss at the end of the wk. Others more on outdoor exercising such as hill walking and core strength. Others more holistic and centre on gentle exercise and yoga/massage/wellbeing. One in particular has rave reviews for changing whole outlook but it's by far the most expensive. I don't know where to start.

Does anyone have any experience either way or can point me in the direction of trip advisor reviews or the like. Thanks
