I'm one of those tried it all dieters/ exercisers. Too old now to believe any of the promises. All diets work if you stick to them. When you stop, they fail. 5 years on from my last very successful diet I'm now almost back to my heaviest ever (no not the post twin weight, but the heaviest 'normal' iykwim). I know the only solution is actually to change my eating habits forever. But how to get there. Well. I lack the willpower I suppose.

Noom says it change my habits in 16 weeks. Has anyone done that?

Hi, I am actually using noom at the moment! I have lost 10lbs in a month and a half and I'm just using the free app (not paying extra for a 'coach' or whatever) I have tried it a few times but I also lack will power 😕 I know a few people using my fitness pal but I couldn't get on with that. Anyway i put in all my details and I'm on a 1200 calorie a day 'diet' which doesn't suck as much as I thought it would! I've started logging down my meals before I eat the to make sure I don't go over on my red or yellow calories and if I don't eat everything I've logged its easy enough 2 remove items ☺️ and I love seeing the weight graph drop down. I currently weigh 196.8lbs and am 5 ft 2" my ideal weight (according to my bmi chart) is between 128 and 135 lbs 😊. I decided to give it ago when I realise after 4 kids in the space of 7 years my family is complete 😊 Its definitely more of a life style change than a diet as I'm a lot more conscious of what I'm eating and how much, so it's having a massive impact on my food choices! definitely give it a go, you have nothing to lose.... Well except weight ☺️

Oh that's interesting thanks. I didn't know there was a free version. Will take a look at that. I also didn't know it was a calorie counting thing. That puts me off a bit. I'm about to go on holiday. So I suppose I'll start something or other when I get back.

Anyone done the 'coach' version?

From a quick google but no proper research it looks like the free and pay programmes may be entirely different. Do let us know what you discover scarf.
