Dealing with weight loss comments

I am mid way through a large weight loss programme. I have lost enough now that it is noticeable and I feel a little more body confident but still got a fair way to go to reach goal (at least 3 stone)

Mostly its been really positive comments, but what's with the

"you don't want to lose too much"
"you'll waste away if you lose any more"
"Don't lose too much you'll look gaunt"

These are all comments I have had in the last week from slim women.

So far I have laughed off them off but it's getting a little repetitive, especially one 'friend' who seems to make the comments each time i see her.

I think part of the problem is that they see the new you but still have the mental image of the previous you. I was shocked when a previous larger friend asked to borrow my trousers for a night out, I honestly believed they would fall off her but they fitted and we are now the same size. In my mind she is much smaller than she is but the reality is she is much smaller than she was. Luckily for me I have never voiced any opinions, if it was me and a slimmer friend/ colleague questioned me weight, I would probably reply "I will worry once I am as slim as you".
