Hi everyone, I am due to start the Cambridge diet tomorrow 😬 It seemed such a good idea at the time ! I am a lifelong yo-yo dieter I have done lighter life before and lost 3 stone but circumstances changed and I could no longer keep going with the maintenance. The lady is coming to me today and I am hoping to find out what are the best things to buy? I think as it'll be week one I will need some drinks to fill me up. Hope to hear from fellow dieters 😃

Hi karen, how are you? I've just signed up for the Cambridge diet tonight. Been a lifelong dieter but I'm feeling quite positive about it. How are you getting on? The

Hi bimbobaggins, you starting tomorrow? It's been ok to be honest the first 3 or 4 days are tough but drink water. My first week I only had 3 bars and the rest shakes Because I didn't realise I could have the meals. I have had to have the water flavouring as I'm not too keen on just water. i would say like I'm doing now 1 day at a time. I've been hungry today and was convinced I wasn't going to do it but I did so I think that's what we have to do 1 day at a time. Good luck, let me know how you get on xx

Hi karen yes I had my weigh in last night and purchased my bars/shakes and started my first day today. . It's been a long hard day. Was particularly difficult making my ds his dinner. I've been drinking the water which I'm finding ok.
Good luck to you too and well done on managing to get through today

Well done on starting, it does get easier. It is hard preparing food for the family, I have sometimes gone upstairs out of the way when it's ready. I've also for the past couple of times had my meal at the same time. Good luck tomorrow
