I like Eat Natural bars. They are yummy. Prob high cal though as full of nuts and dried fruit, but not full of bad stuff (I do eat a LOT of bad stuff I hasten to add). Dont think any "healthy" snack bars are actually ALL that healthy though, TBH, a lot of the time they are only less cals than normal choc bars etc as they are either VERY small, or have sweetener instead of sugar .

Biglips · 20/03/2007 20:21

well sweetners is better than sugar anyway.. Where did u get them from pls?

Alpen light bars are yummy, and on WW work out as 1 point, they are the lowest in calorie and saturated fat of all teh ones on teh shelf in the supermarket (believe, me I checked them all wiht my lil point calculator, lol...)!
I have tried so far teh Apple sultana/cinnamon ones and the chocolate orange ones!
Or if you like Ricecakes, the big ones are low point value, too...i.e. work out low calories and saturated fat content....I love the cadbury chocolate ones (but stear clear of the chocolate orange ones, lol, they are gross imo)...they are 1point per ricecake!
Not sure how much the caramel ones are.

BigCookLittleCook · 21/03/2007 07:39

Eat Natural are sweetened with honey instead of sugar or sweeteners I think. Can get them in Holland and Barrett and also seen them in Waitrose and I think Sainsburys.

BigCremeEggs · 21/03/2007 07:58

oooh thanks everyone....i will try them all out!! and see which one i prefer!

BigCookLittleCook · 21/03/2007 11:06

Like your new name!

BigCremeEggs · 21/03/2007 12:38

thanks

what about Slimfast ones or are they tasteless??

MiaWallace · 21/03/2007 12:39

Special K bars are really nice for 90 calories

thirtysomething · 21/03/2007 20:42

ryvita goodness bars (usually on the crackers/biscuits aisle) are yummy and full of good things like pumpkin seeds. They work out at 60 cals (1 ww point I think?) and are just sweet enough to keep you going mid-morning or mid-afternoon.

BigCremeEggs · 21/03/2007 20:43

ive bought some special K ones - cherry flavour for now and see what they taste like

3andnomore · 22/03/2007 12:55

yeah, special K bars are lovely, but on WW they are 1/2 point more, lol...and well, every lil 1/2 point adds up, lol!
