For the last couple of years I've realised that my weight had been creeping up, clothes are a bit tighter, I'm having to suck in my tummy for photos etc but I've been kidding myself it's not too bad..,
Today I weighed myself for the first time in ages and am horrified to find that I'm nearly 12 stone and for the first time in my life am now officially overweight
I'm early 50s, not yet menopausal (so I can't even blame it on that) and eat less than everyone else in my family (who are all stick thin). I average 15-16,000 steps a day, 20,000+ at weekends and cycle when it's short distances. I'm vegetarian and don't eat cheese as I'm on a low-salt diet for Menieres. I can't run anymore as I have severe arthritis on my kneecap ...
I just need to eat vegetable soup and salad for the rest of my life don't I? (sigh)
