What's the best way I can do this if I can't get to the gym/classes much? I have a baby and need to let she weight for her christening. I had a caesarean seven months ago

I lost a stone in 7 weeks on Slimming World. Am on target to lose another 5lb in 4 weeks to get my 3st award!

I tend to have fruit and yoghurt for breakfast if I am working. Then a protein based lunch like an omelette with spinach, mushrooms sliced ham and some salad. That takes me from 11am to 5pm at work. Then dinner of chicken pasta or a baked potato or a rice based dish.

Non work days can be a sweet Omelette with yoghurt and frozen fruit, pasta for lunch then fish or lean meat for tea with some rice or potatoes and either salad or veg.

Sugarsnap peas have replaced my crisps addiction. I try to drink around 3ltr of fluid a day.

Walk lots and do the blood sugar diet.
You will lose weight quite quickly.

I've lost 1st 4lb with Slimming World in 9 weeks. I was 14st 6.5lb to begin with though, the more you weigh the faster it will come off I think! So if you weigh much less than I did it could be harder for you. Losing 1-2lb a week is healthy so it's definitely do-able!

I whisk 2 eggs and turn them into an omelette the top with yoghurt and frozen fruit. The heat of the omelette melts the fruit.

I can't fast, tried and I can't. Im interested d in low carb, high fat. What do you eat?

Entirely possible. 2 pounds a week is a realistic goal.

Take a look at the Harcombe Diet if you want to shed weight quickly. It's relatively low carb, but you don't mix carbs and protein (so veggie curry with brown rice, or steak and salad). There's a 5 day detox to start with which makes you feel grim because you do away with sugar and caffiene but after that you feel great.

I'm doing Slimming world at the mo (I find it fits in better with the DCs) and that's good because the DCs and I eat the same. Harcombe Diet is a good, quick fix though.

Have a look at the weight loss section on the NHS website. Lots of good ideas. There's recipes on the Slimming World website too and I keep track of my consumption with my fitness pal app.

I have a toddler so can't get to a gym or anything but a lot of every day activities count as exercise, mowing the lawn, walking to school, housework even.

I've lost 2 kgs in 2 weeks despite going on holiday and drinking a bit of alcohol. Obviously, it comes off easier at first depending on how overweight you are.
