Allen Carr for weight loss

My (previously) chain smoking friend has stopped using AC method and is positively evangelical about it.
I've had some success with SW but got fed up of the 90 min clapping laden weekly groups.
I eat healthily and exercise daily but evening bingeing is my downfall. Need to lose 1.5-2 stone for healthy BMI.
Might AC weight loss programme (I was thinking book in the 1st instance) reset my brain?

Hi, I used the Allen Carr stop smoking book and gave up about 13 years ago no problem.

I read his lose weight book and didn't like it at all. I only wanted to lose about half a stone so maybe I wasn't that motivated but it was all about eating fruit and the earth's great bounty if I remember correctly (although I may have made that up in my head). Didn't spur me on at all.

I regularly do the 5:2 which I think is brilliant. Have you tried that? You don't need to lose that much so it might work for you.

Good luck.
