Hi Sophable. If you look at "on the way to losing a stone with codswallop" thread, you'll see I have been suffering in the same way. A lot of effrot, with latterly, apparently very little return.
I haven't even been binging at the weekend - so haven't even had that pleasure. (I would loosen up at weekends, ie have a couple of glasses of wine, but that would be about it).
I've decided that after nearly 2 months, and now at 10 stone 7 or 8 (from 11 stone 2)(although I DID get to 10 stone 6), which is where I've been for 3 weeks, I'm going to give myself a break this week. I'm not going to binge, but I'm not going to get up tight if I have the odd treat.
Maybe that'll help me get back into the mood to continue the diet with renewed motivation.
I'm also trying to start running again. Did 2 miles on Sunday and meant to go out last night but didn't - and tongiht we're out to see Fahrenheit 9/11, so it'll be tomorrow befre I can run.
And if I fancy some popcorn tonght at the cineam, I'll HAVE some popcorn
The important thing is, my clothes ARE a lot looser - and I'm sure your clothes are too. Maybe you need to allow a wee but of time for your body to "stabilise" at this wegiht, before re-entering the diet race!
