Anyone had success in losing say a stone in 6 weeks and then losing another stone straight after but over 6 months? Or similar? Or does it all fall to pieces if you change pace?

Following, I was talking about this with a friend. It's hard to stay motivated with a very slow, gradual weight loss. I feel rubbish, really overweight and sluggish and would like to drop a bit of weight relatively quickly.
Have you heard of the Blood Sugar Diet? This is meant to give a quick weight loss (particularly belly fat) and then you can adapt it. There is a good website, it is Dr Michael Mosley and he argues that fast weight loss isn't necessarily a bad thing.

This is definitely interesting- I know a lot people are against fast weightloss but I feel like that's what I need to motivate me!!

One just need to be very string and follow the diet plan and other activities very accurately so that they can loss their weight affectively and in time.

Have a read around the Dukan diet. This has a short attack phase and then a slower cruise phase (although I still lose weight fairly quickly following it).

Right. Thank you. I'll look into these.
