Haven't weighed myself in ages and did today and thats what I am.

Not sure if it is good or not.

Not unless you've got a teeny frame.

If you've got boobs and hips I reckon that's a nice weight. (Am 5'3").

maisym · 03/03/2007 15:46

seems fine

LucyJones · 03/03/2007 15:47

it's fine. your bmi is in the healthy range too

LucyJones · 03/03/2007 15:47

bmi calculator

NuttyMuffins · 03/03/2007 15:47

Oh yes have definatly got boobs, DD cup.

Hips...erm not sure, don't think I am particularly hippy.

I feel really big though lately, hence me weighing myself.

Think perhaps I will try cutting down a little and even some exercise maybe

Oh right, thanks for that link.

Perhaps I'll just concentrate on toning up then.

that's what I need to do Nutty but I just can't be bothered to shift my lardy arse off the sofa every night

Lilliput · 03/03/2007 15:52

That how much I weigh and I am 5'2. I did weight watchers and the ideal weight I needed to get down to was 9 st 11 to get to bmi 25, I fluctuate between 9 st4 and 9 st7.
I do need to tone up after the slobbiness of winter, I find exercising so much easier in the summer .

Lilliput · 03/03/2007 15:53

I do have boobs , 32E and curvey hips .

stitch · 03/03/2007 15:54

sounds perfect.

I'm 5ft 3 and am currently 8 stone, have E cup boobs at the moment as I'm breastfeeding. I weigh less now than before I was pregnant but I think breastfeeding has made me lose weight as I'm not dieting and eat junk food and crap constantly. I'm not happy with my body though as I have flabby bits still from the pregnancy and my stomach muscles haven't gone back properly just yet. Baby is 7 weeks old now btw. I'm happy with my weight but would like to be fitter and less tummy, will be working on both once I can.

NuttyMuffins · 03/03/2007 15:57

It's my stomach that is making me feel like I am huge I think. It resembles a half deflated balloon and is just yuck.

I am crap at exercising, I am just too lazy.

Someone said the Nell Mcandrew dvd is really good though so might see if anyone I know has it.

That sounds fab Jodie especially as your baby is only 7 weeks old.

I would like to be 8 stone but I think those days are gone for me lol.

I am a bridesmaid next August and am starting to panic that I will look like a fat frump lol.

I'm sure you'll look lovely I have quite a small frame so even another half a stone looks a lot on me. I think all the running about after y 3 and 5 year old has helped too lol.

stitch · 03/03/2007 16:08

do lots of tummy excersises if yu can. dont forget to do some back ones s well, becuse if youdo too many tummy, nd not enough bck, it becomes weekerr..

regarding the deflated balloon, i have one too. and dd is 4. best thing is really good quality magic wer type stuff. something that goes all the way from right under your bra, down to your thighs, and tht you can breth in.

NuttyMuffins · 03/03/2007 16:24

Thanks Jodie

What sort of tummy exercises do you mean Stitch ?? I am crap at sit ups, not sure if it's me doing them wrong but my neck and back always really hurt as soon as i start.

Nutty - my target weight is 9 stone 6lbs and I am 5'2". I have been as low as 8 stone and as high as 11 stone 7lb. I think 9, 6 is just nice for someone our height. Shouldn't be too much trouble to maintain. What clothes size are you?

Lilliput · 03/03/2007 19:33

I was 11 st 3 when I started weightwatchers and when I got down to 9 st 4 people would say things like 'You won't lose any more will you' or 'have you been ill'. So I guess it is partly about the weight that suits you more than anything else. I'm a size 12 and a 10 on a good day and depending where I buy from.

Booboobedoo · 04/03/2007 11:49

Lilliput: I had a similar experience when I lost weight. Some people don't like you to change as they have you all comfortably in a little box, and have to re-evaluate you, and therefore themselves (if that makes sense).

I wouldn't take any notice if I were you. Just listen to the supportive people who congratulate you on your achievement.

I remember one girl saying 'but you won't be you if you get thin'. Dropped her like a hot-cake.

Am not slim now as I'm 40 weeks pregnant, but I will be again.

Oh yes.
