What to do when your fat jeans no longer do up?

I know I need to lose 3+ stone but can't get myself in the zone to do it. How did you switch comfort eating for healthy eating and shift the weight?

You just have to do it.

Or buy bigger jeans.

That's not meant to be unhelpful, rather just that I think there is no magic bucket for finding motivation.

There's a whole section for weight loss on MN talk, and perhaps one thing to try is browsing through all the topics there and seeing if that helps you find your way.

But beware of that becoming a displacement activity! Because - assuming you are in normal health - it all comes down to you making enduring dietary changes.
