DS is 9mths old now and I had him via emergency c-section. Funny thing is that I seem to be shrinking down (which am v grateful for!), but scales are not shifting at all weight wise!! How is this possible?? Anyone had the same thing happen to them?

yup,I had lost 2 stone by the middle of december then plateaued and couldn't shift a lb for about 6 weeks.I did lose 2 inches around my chest in that 6 weeks though which I agree is very weird.

Maybe I'm getting denser??!! Ha ha!

Mind you, that would explain my recent cholestrol level of 7.5.........doctor just told me to 'cut out dairy'.....!!! twat!

another coincidence nikki,I had a cholesterol level of 7.4 in august and through a low carb diet (definately NOT low fat) and exercise I have reduced it to 5.4!

I agree your gp is a twat.

I've done the GI diet before pregs and it was FAB - but am not able to get into it now.

Am at mums for the week as hubby doing shifts (yuk yuk but gud money!) and she is doing me chippies!!! mmmmmm!!! Am a lost cause

I think its cos I'm shrinking so I think sod it - its all about the external look isn't it...bugger how puffed we get going up the stairs or how furry the arteries are!!!!
