Just that really. I was going to start Slimming World again on Friday. I've half heartedly been following WW as I wanted to sort portions blah blah blah etc etc.

I woke up today and have just had enough. I'm bored of it all. Ironically, I weigh far more than I ever did before I started dieting almost 8yrs ago.
I never had before and was always between 8-9 stone. I had gained a stone after having DS2 and decided to go along to SW.
I now have 4 stone to lose Blush and I'm so sick of diets!
Any tips? Anyone tried Paul Mckenna? Is it another fad?

I'm now 2 years into being at my target weight having lost 20lbs. For me, I can make you thin was a revelation. I never thought I was on a diet when reaching my target weight. I occasionally creep up by a couple pounds after a holiday but it's so easy to lose.

Before I can make you thin, I spent 25 years on yoyo dieting, a periodic war of attrition with controlling my calorie intake.

As it turns out, all I needed to do was (1) eat whenever you feel hungry (2) eat really slowly, noticing your food, putting down your knife and fork in between mouthfuls, noticing and delighting in the texture and flavours of what you are eating (3) stop eating the moment your body feels satisfied and you are no longer hungry (this is way before you feel full or uncomfortable). Being disciplined to not just eat for the sake of it, just because it's there within reach or still on the plate in front of you, just eating because you feel like it. I now question myself before putting something in my mouth, am I really hungry or am I using food as an excuse for boredom or something else.
