Breakfast ideas

Hi all

Having lost and gained weight numerous times and feeling at an all time low, I'm trying to go back to basics an re-educate myself a bit about healthy food and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for healthy breakfasts. I usually have porridge or cereal with almond milk but sometimes get a bit bored and also I'm wondering about reducing carbs a little. I like scrambled eggs so wondered about that as I don't think I eat enough protein in general (I'm vegetarian) but then apart from toast I'm not sure what else I could have with them and then that's carbs gain.

Any ideas? What are your favourite breakfasts?

xx

I tend to stick to breakfasts around 300 calories and below.

Greek yoghurt with berries
Half a tin of beans on one slice of toast
Eggs in any form on one slice of toast
Half an avo on toast (are you sensing a theme here Grin)

If you don't want toast, you can replace it with mushrooms, half a grilled tomato and half a plate of spinach.

I used to eat porridge every day, but have started eating 2 scrambled eggs, spinach, tomato and mushroom instead. This fills me up far more and has helped me cut out mid morning snacking.
