So I have tried loads of diets/eating plans/my fitness pal type apps and exercise. Basically I'm lazy and a cheat. If I have a plan, I cheat. If I limit calories, I cheat. If I 5:2, I keep pushing back the 2 days til actually it 7:0. I have zero discipline!
But this year I lost 2 stone when I quit dairy. No cutting of calories, just a different type.
So I'm thinking of cutting out gluten, and maybe sugar. I'm happy gluten will be easy, so much dairy free stuff is also gluten free. But sugar will be tough, I'll have to completely rid the house of it and dh is not supportive (still has proper butter on his toast, I LOVE proper butter!)
Anyone had any success with elimination diets?
