The seminar is £99 in birmingham. I did it twice and gained 2 stone, ha ha ha - just my luck. A lot of people there had lost weight though, but I expect they get in for free. It was £300 when I did it in London.
The confidence thing is called AMOG - alpha male of group. Genetically women are programmed to fancy the Alpha male. So in a group of 500 women there to learn from him, he is naturally the Alpha male, and so more fanciable and also more confident than he would appear in a normal mixed group, where he wouldn't necessarily be the Alpha.
There is a whole school of subliminal hypnosis on picking up women and a key part is about mimicking alpha behaviour and body language - obviously I'm absolutely not suggesting he does this deliberately in his workshop though.
Search online for PUA (pick up artists) if you want to see more stuff on this. There are Utube videos teaching subliminal hypnosis on women, have a look around, it's a bit shocking. Stemmed from a best selling book "The Game" by Neil Strauss. At worst I'd say it's verging on date rape to be honest, although the PUAs call it a bit of "fun".
