very very overweight and not at all motivational or inpsiring.

Would this put you off joining at all? I mean, if she practised what she preached surely she wouldnt be overweight?

I think I'd be looking for another group TBH, esp if she's not inspiring.

do i have to re-join and pay my fees again or can i just go to another group?

I think you can just transfer. But AFAIK all consultants need to have actually been a member you can't just walk in off the street and expect training. Yes, personally I think an overweight leader is uninspiring, but I've also had the other end where the girl was sooo slim and had absolutely no empathy for us fat faces who obviously in her eyes just sit at home with the biscuit tin as she'd done it so why couldn't we.

It would put me off that she wasn't motivational or inspiring but not that she is very overweight. Slimming world try to employ consultants from members who haven't reach target yet as they feel that it is nice to have someone who is going through it with you iyswim of course when they hit target they'll be slim and still a consultant but then the before and after pics are inspiring. My sw consultant is still overweight and she's been doing it for 20 years but when you see her before pictures the transformation is amazing! My consultant's manager rang me up at the weekend and wants me to go to a do to see if I fancy applying to be a consultant as mine recommended me apparently. I'm still a couple of stone off my healthy weight range but have lost 3 stone so far.

My SW consultant is not at target and I am glad. She is very motivational and inspiring and the new member numbers since Jan have been amazing.

I too have been asked to become a Consultant but am 3 stone away from my target.

WW is very strict for the consultant weight wise. SW you choose your own target.

But if you are not happy with your consultant then you can just transfer.

Good luck
