Ok brief back story - went on holiday in June, lost a stone in advance of that and felt great.
Since then I've had a lot of family stress and work stuff going on, and I've put that stone (maybe more) back on.
I'm going on a short break in a week and I look hideous in my swimwear. I don't have the time or money to buy new - what can I do?!
If I could lose half a stone I'm sure it would make a difference....

Get a nice new swimming costume?
I personally haven't worn a bikini since being 16 or so and obviously think they are overrated...

Sarong and don't worry about it!
I'm a 16/18 and not one of those glamorous curvaceous ones, but I wore my bikini on holiday this year and gave no fucks. There were women of all shapes and sizes around the pool wearing all kinds of bikinis and TBH it was the slimmer ones who appeared most self conscious. I noticed an absolutely gorgeous girl taking her top off nervously, covering her thighs when she stood up and hunching over so that nobody could see her totally flat stomach!
No woman has ever been 100% happy with her body. Enjoy your holiday, and if you want to eat a bit healthily before you go, why not.

Thank you both. My mum has said the same, and also thinks I'm worrying over nothing.
