If you really go for it, yes. A dress size is approx 10lbs, so 20lbs in say, 10 weeks? You'll not be able to cheat, but if you stick to a plan you could just about do it.

So a bit of couch to 5k, no treats, less bread, ditch the weekday lattes, prep a lunch (so no sandwich shop). Anything else??

I am in the same boat. I started two weeks ago today at 11.4 and have just weighed myself for the first time and am 10.7. I ditched bread, rice, pasta, sugar, cake, biscuits and chocolate. The first three days were hell but now I feel so much better and my clothes definitely hang better. It's early days for me but I hope to continue. I want to be 9 stone. Good luck op.

Yes 11 pounds but to be fair I use to eat a massive amount of crap and probably 2000 calories of chocolate a day. Sweet food is my addiction but can honestly say that after a week I am not missing it. There is chocolate and biscuits in the house and I'm just not eating them. I've shocked myself! Have been trying to diet for the last four years but failed pretty much everyday so I am really happy with myself.

I'm going to India end of Oct/start of Nov and don't want to be fat when I go.
