You eat quite a bit of junk? for instance, im doing MFP and yesterday I ate:

A ham salad sandwich
Beef hula hoops
Grapes
Half a bag of mini cheddars
Slow cooked pork chop, mash and veg
Kit Kat
Maoam stripe thingy

And it came under 1200 cals! But will I lose weight doing this, or do you have to eat 1200 cals of the right sorts of food?

I think things are shifting away a bit from low carb too, more emphasis on food thats not been processed too much, good veg fats, wholegains and legumes seem to be coming back into favour? Just based on things I have been reading lately, nothing uber scientific, think there was something in the media a couple of days ago but does look like there coud be a strong argument against the study in question (doesnt seem to allow for lifestyle stuff). www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-36942221

Agree low carb is a v effective way to lose weight. However if you're not doing that, I'd make sure my treats were more nutritious, fruits, nuts, dark chocolate etc. Don't think there's enough nutrition in that snapshot of your diet!
