Please say yes.
Planning on eating around 800 calories a day and exercising like mad. Is that safe?

Drink lots.

It's probably doable to lose 3kg or so but your dress size may not catch up, and IMO you could have a horrendous rebound next week.

Stand up straight?? Posture makes a huge difference.

I was going to suggest salmonella, but if you're aiming to drop to fit in specific clothes for an event/holiday, that might ruin the occasion too. As might the 'discovering DH's affair' diet.

If you get the strain of food poisoning I had last week it would be possible - however I wouldn't recommend it as I still feel awful!

Just buy a decent pair of Spanx?!!

Plenty of water and high fluid foods. It won't definitely get you half a stone but you'll look slimmer and your skin will look brighter. Why half a stone? Would it not be easier to dress for the shape you have?

I'm 10st atm ( 5'6 height) but clothes always look better on me when I'm around 9.7, plus I feel better. I've Just been pigging out a bit last few weeks but meeting up with an old friend on Friday and I'm stressing about what to wear. I have this roll of fat that is escaping over the top of my trousers & I'm so self conscious. I know that's more about regular exercise but I need a quick fix.

I can lose 5lb in 5 days on the Harcombe diet but you have to stick to it and drink masses of water.

To lose one pound of fat properly you need to burn 3500 calories that you haven't taken in. Not eating for the next three days will only lose two pounds of fat max, anymore and you will regain it on Saturday morning after your breakfast.
