apple cider vinegar? does it work

I read about this ages ago and have bought some to try, has anyone any success with it, or am i really going to have to stop eating and do some excercise?!

Yes apparently it disollves fat but it can burn a hole in your intestine or somethinglike that.

surely not??? isn't it just like normal vinegar?
I thought it curbed your apetite?
