How on earth can I lose weight when I have NO willpower?

So I am 5'3" and I was about 9.5 stone but lately it's been creeping up towards 10st. According to the BMI calculator this is still within healthy limits but only just.

I would like to get down to just over 9st. Problem is, although we generally eat healthy dinners and I cook from scratch most nights, I know I eat too much unhealthy stuff during the day.

I know a healthy breakfast should consist of protein and low in sugar and carbs. So what do I end up eating - a bowl of cereal and a mini pain au chocolat Blush

I have always loved chocolate and have to have some every day. Going without it would just make me miserable and I wouldn't last.

I know this probably sounds pathetic but I'm being honest. Any tips please?

It's patronising as in 'oh look! A man is here to tell us what to do!'

And I've never understood the need to substitute letters with symbols so it looks like you're not swearing. We can all work out what the word was, in which case, why not use the actual word? We're all adults here, and we can use the language we like (as long as it's not part of a PA or breaking Talk Guidelines, of course)

I find patronising ...

I think it's only about a man telling us what to do if that's how you interpret it ... I've been brought up to call females ladies and see nothing wrong with that.

Setting a short-term goal helps me get motivated.

Holiday coming up? I challenged myself to lose a stone before my last one, and managed to lose 9 lbs in the 7-week lead-up. When I got back I set a new challenge: lose a stone by end of summer. Already nearly there. :)

A weekly cheat day saves me from binging during the week and I track every single bite on My Fitness Pal. I usually log-in once a day to plan the next day out, and adjust my intake for that day if necessary. 2 minutes of work to stay accountable. Easy peasy.

When I get discouraged I remind myself that it's only for another few weeks and I can take a break after that if I want. Good luck!
