Has anybody tried this? Does it really work?

I see all the posts on FB of people who have graduated from this plan and the results look amazing and it is very tempting. However the internet being what it is I am unsure how good it really is. I would imagine that only the best pictures are shown on social media and that people may even photoshop their pictures before sending them in (Im not saying that they definately do, but its a very definate possibility)

So for £150 is it worth it? Ive heard that the extra food you have to buy is expensive too.

There is a rather long thread on here somewhere, but it seems to have faded away.

My OH is now on cycle 3 of the plan, and the results have been dramatic. He is much happier with the way he looks now and is more confident. It's not just been weight loss, but also a change in his body shape, muscle tone etc.

I will add that it is definitely expensive and a faff. There are a multitude of supplements to buy, specific products, foods and brands - on top of that the meals themselves and the preparation, exercise and the gym, my goodness. It does take a while to get your head around each cycle and how things work. I personally don't think that the plan itself is personalised to the point that they market it as being, nor in my opinion is it very well written out (nor am I a fan of his product placements), BUT it gives you a good guide to follow generally.

My OH is super anal and has stuck to the plan religiously, to the point of being extremely annoying, but as I said he is a changed man, so I guess that is proof in the long run that it does provide results.

I dont know how anal Id be about it. Especially as DH wouldnt be interested and as he does the cooking he'd certainly have something to say about the meals. In reality Id like me and DH to do it, but its down to him to want to do something which he doesn't.

Maybe it might be a better idea to get the book and do some of his youtube work-outs. I think I saw today that he has a new book coming out soon (Im sure it was for pre-order at WH Smiths)

I was just coming on to search for a thread about this. The results are dramatic aren't they?! I read a review of it for one of the papers where the journo said it was good but she had struggled to keep at it through cycle 3. She had good results but obviously not as dramatic because of that. She reckoned it was essentially a bodybuilders diet which kind of put me off a bit. I knew a bodybuilder once and his diet really was very rigid and specific with lots of expensive supplements as stated above.

I've bought the book and am going to use it alongside a nutritional plan I got from a local trainer. Maybe you could see if anyone local to you offers a similar service for less? Mine had no supplements on it and was tailored specifically for me and was half the price.

I'd say it depends on where you're at now. People can have the staying power to see it through but more often than not there'll be some rebound afterwards, I only know people who didn't get to the final stage.

Ive joined a group on Facebook. Following that for a while to help me decide. If it was cheaper I would just give it a go, but for nearly £150 Im just not sure I can do it.

There is a new gym opening in a few weeks which I am thinking of joining. I might also pay for a couple of PT sessions. The cardio HIIT stuff is easy to do, its just the weights.
