Can't Stop Snacking!

So I'm there minding my own business at home on maternity leave and BOOM I have the urge to snack...

I make my way to the fridge and cupboards and help myself to something tasty - biscuits, crisps, ham, nuts, toast etc

I don't like fruit - it's the texture and the sharpness mostly and I can't eat yoghurts...

I eat a good breakfast, a decent sized lunch and I always have a good sized dinner (DH is the cook and a fine one at that) but why can't I stop snacking?!

I was hoping someone would give me some help as to some healthier snacks or some tricks to help me stop! (Cleaning doesn't work - it makes the urge worse!)

Thanks! xx

Not sure what you're looking for? Do you want to stop snacking for any reason? Are you looking to lose weight.
I do intermittent fasting. I stop eating from my evening meal for at least 13 hours till breakfast.
That puts paid to nighttime snacking.
If I snack during the day it's because I'm hungry. An apple or a pear or a few nuts tide me over till mealtime.

You say you're on Mat leave. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding I'd say keep on snacking! Smile

You can stop snacking . When you find yourself going to the fridge drink a glass of water instead. With the warm weather I'm having my water with ice and slices of lemon and lime it's quite refreshing.
