Weight gain in pregnancy

Hi I am still pg and new to this site. I am 21 weeks pregnant. Completely trivial and vain question but did any other mums out there put on lots of weight on their face? My already round face looks bloated and I am now getting a slight double chin. I have hamster cheeks!! I've gained almost 6 kg in 21 weeks and as I'm only 5ft 3" it doesn't look good, as I'm now almost 69 kg, though I probably did overeat in christmas and not eating low fat things.........sorry it's so vain of me, I know, but I feel a bit unconfident looking at my new face in the mirror

hello, all i can say is that it will drop off you. I lost two stone in the first few weeks without doing a thing and eating stacks! Also, loads of the face weight will be fluid and will disappear really quickly. Its so not vain, my little one is 20 weeks now and am finding it tough to lose the last 7lbs, even though Im a mum I am still desperate to get into my size 10s and tight skirts! Happy weekend

'pregnancy face' is a well known side effect. you probably look 'blooming' and lovely to everyone else. tell your partner or someone close to you to keep telling your how beautiful you are.
