A stone this month - who's with me?!

None of my clothes fit anymore, I feel disgusting, and am two sizes too big for the bridesmaids dress I have to wear in July. AAAARRRRGGHHHHH!!!

Desperate times call for desperate measures- who's with me?!

Can I join in? One stone is my target for May.

Wine is my issue rather than food. I can't have any this week due to driving duties late each evening so I reckon I'm off to a flying start.

I think you can get quite far when you low carb.
Low carb (protein, pulses and veg) lots of water, walking daily, crunches, squats and planking while watching tv is my aim from tomorrow.

I am just place marking - I went to the supermarket today to buy loads of healthy food with the idea of starting tomorrow after the bank holiday.

I will post stats and daily food then.

I'm in. I have 2 stone to lose to be at ideal weight but a stone would get me to a healthy weight.

My plan is:

exercise every day (am using fitbit)
weights 3 times a week
zumba class once or twice a week

no bread
no wine
eat sensibly otherwise.

Today has been reasonable so far but my snacking continues to be a pain!
Breakfast was wholemeal toast and peanut butter x2. Dinner will be tuna pasta bake. Lunch didn't happen and was replaced with a cereal bar and some kettle chips Blush
However this is a major step forward since I haven't had my hands in the cupboards all day. I have a gym class later too. One step at a time eh?

Can I join too please? I need to lose 2-3 stone and aiming for a stone this month is a great start. I plan to cut down on sugary foods and limit snacking to fruit (or no snacks). I did 5:2 in the past so may try that again too. Will start tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

Can I join? I need to lose more but the first stone will get me back into clothes I like and will make em feel much better!

I've restarted C25K (jumped in at week 3 and that was fine) and am cutting out refined carbs. Wine only at weekends.

I really want to feel and look better for the summer!

I've had quite a social weekend which involved lots of food so I'm going to fast today to reset my appetite.
I'm not eating til dinner. Dinner is chicken, corgetti and pesto. Apple for dessert.
I'll go for a long walk at some point and do some floor exercises later.

I've had a good couple of days, I'm down 3 lbs since Sunday. I'm only counting my weigh ins on Sundays however.

I'm drinking lots of water and eating when hungry only.

Afternoon all .
9 stone 5 this morning ,4lb off, prob get harder to loose after today . Had some Pringles and two gin and slims when I got back from my twilight shift last night which was not great .
Soup , low cal bread and laughing cow triangle for lunch .
Low cal meal and salad for tea .
It's night that are the worse for me so I bought some melon in the hope that it will keep me away from anything else .

Done well so far today, did week 2 day 1 of couch25k although I now have a sore knee Hmm
Breakfast was a protein bar after the run, lunch was some leftover courgette lasagne and salad and tea will be some quorn roast, veg, a couple of yorkshire puddings and gravy.
Xoticdreamz I also struggle with snacking at night, I've started having a bowl of grapes, strawberries etc and if I still feel the need then I allow myself a bag of skinny popcorn but I'm starting to get used to just having some fruit.

Hows everyone doing today? I've had an apple and a sandwich thin with philadelphia for breakfast, a falafel wrap for lunch and I'm having chilli for tea with salad and nachos. I'll have 200 cals left to have some fruit infront of the telly tonight.
I hope the scales are kind saturday morning!

Today is hard- it's really sunny and my colleague returned from lung with a box of magnums Angry

Have resisted and had some chicken breast and fat free cottage cheese instead. I had better see a good number on the scales this weekend, or I may cry!

I know how you feel, I really want to see a pound off on weigh day, 2 would be great. But I had more of the nachos than I should have done so probably gone over my cals for today. Really annoyed with myself.
Think I might do a mini-fast tomorrow to try and make up for it.

I would love to join. 11stone13.9 this morning. A freaking disgrace. If I could even shift a stone I might have some clothes to wear. I was exactly a stone lighter this time last year Blush.

Still stuck at 9st5lb .
Going out for dinner tonight which is a big danger field for me . A few drinks and I always end up thinking fuck it I'll have the burger and the pudding and crisps on the way home .
Really don't want to do that tonight .
Need some self control !

I keep focusing on all the clothes I can't fit into as well brain , loads of new lovely stuff that I really want to wear .

Aw thx Fenella. I am actually really up for the challenge now. A stone would make a huge start for me as ideally down the line I would like to be 10 stone so I would be over half. I have had 2 good days but DH and I are heading to the cinema tonight so I need to plan ahead.
