I know not everyone likes her but I do. Im finding it at a good level for me. Some stuff is really easy and other bits I can't do at all yet.

DH bought me the double DVD and I am trying to do it through the week.

I also managed to weigh myself yesterday and I nearly fell over I was appauled. So I really need to keep going with it and not leave it as an unused pressie (which I did request)

Anyone else?

I have done the first one, I found it reall really good and helped me lose about a stone.
All those squats really make your legs ache the next day, don't they?!
Stick with it, it'll really work and I found her lovely on the DVD, really inspiring.
I can't get to do home DVD's now due to two manic DS's, so go to the gym.

Yes I've got - DH due to go away for 9 weeks in 2 weeks so my plan is healthy eating during the day and Davina at night once the children are in bed. I had a similar experience with the scales and my clothes are so uncomfortable - time to take action.

Also got the Charlie Brooks one which looks pretty good too!

I'm doing the Power of 3. I go running (do 10k races when I get the chance) and the toning section on this made my legs ache for the rest of the day when I first did it. It is an excellent workout.

Lizzylou, my 2yo DTS join in with me when I'm doing my home exercise. They especially like the Little Black Dress workout by Zoe Lucker.

Speedymama, I have tried to get my DS1 to join in (2yr 9mths) but he prefers me to race him up and down the lounge instead! Still exercise tho I suppose!

Speedymama I would love to be able to run - 10k I'm impressed!

McDreamy, I learnt to run using this training programme from BUPA, here so give it a go. If I can do it, anybody can.

McDreamy · 11/01/2007 10:20

Ok well you have inspired me - training programme and advice currenting printing!! I will give it a go. How long have you been running?

Beabea · 11/01/2007 10:29

Wow its good to see lots of others exercising at home. I've just done the cardiobox for the 2nd time. Its great as its only 30mins so I can really put my all into it. Its really much more fun than I thought it would be.

Well done Speedymama I shall have a look at your link. My boobs are a bit big for running though!

I started when the DTS were about 4 months old (they are now 2yo,10 months). I'd put on about 4.5 stone with the pregnancy and as well as doing weightwatchers, I wanted to improve my fitness levels (energy is a must with twins).

I try to run at least once a week in the winter and 2 or 3 times a week when it is warmer. I also go to the gym at work once a week (I work 3 days a week)and workout to my home DVDs about twice a week. I lost most of the weight I put on by the time the boys were 15 months (the last 10lbs took forever to come off!).

Good luck!
