Is honey bad? I've just had a small bowl of Fage(sp?) crushed meringue, raspberries and a drizzle of honey. Is it high sugar? I know the meringue is shit for me aswell, I needed a bit of crunch though. I plan to add Apple to it next time, just didn't have any atm.

Also, are there any cheaper alternatives to Fage? It's so expensive!

Honey is basically pure sugar. Obviously it's natural and unrefined but once it's in your body it is treated just the same as sugar is.

Be sparing with it.

For plain Greek yoghurt I just buy supermarket own brand. I don't like the fage one anyway.

Well it's just pure sugar so bad if your trying to cut down on sugar and calories on general. The meringues are high in sugar too, i'd have thought that would make it sweet enough?

Totak (fage) is excellent because it contains no sugar. Many other 'Greek style' yogurts are full of it.

I love it

Total not Totak
