SLIMMING WORLD MEMBERS - Do you find your consultant helpful?

I have been to Slimming World on and off three times now. First time did brilliantly almost lost two stone. Consultant was lovely, friendly and really helpful. She was willing to help you any time of the day or night. Unfortunately she had to leave as she moved away.
Second time - Consultant ok'ish. Didn't feel like she had the enthusiasm there like the previous consultant. Didn't help me - so I left.
Third time - Consultant very friendly but I didn't feel like she offered very much information or advice re: the plan. I felt that everyone else in the group made suggestions and she would just agree with them. Again I left.

Now, I know it's not all down to the Consultants and the hard work has to come from me. My willpower dwindled and I stopped going. I'm pretty sure though that a good consultant makes a big difference to how you feel about losing weight.

Do you find yours encouraging?

My consultant is a huge help!! It is only new to N.I & she was one of the first ones to set it up over here. She had lost her weight at a group in England & then she moved to here, I guess she seen an opportunity where there were no classes & used it to her advantage

Anything she is unsure of there are group members who will try & help out & she will usually say "leave it with me & I'll get back to you", & she does, the next day!! She will answer texts, phonecalls, e-mails.. about anything, no matter how stupid!

she really is a great girl, always looks well, but not big-headed with it!!

Yeah i'm lucky to have a brilliant consultant and group too. She's really lovely and supportive and we get regular postcards and emails from her. The group is lovely too and I also think that makes a difference. We go to the 7 o clock wednesday group and the 6 o clock group isn't nearly as nice or have as much of a laugh.

I am trying to get myself motivated to go back to group again. Far too many christmas treats still left in house though.
