I'm so sick of being on a diet.

I really am. I'm fed up with having to think about what I eat every single day and not being able to just eat what I want. If I do eat what I want, I put on weight. Quickly. I cannot seem to reach a point where I stay the same weight, it seems to be gain or lose.

I hate the thought of having to live like this forever but then, I hate the thought of being overweight forever even more so I know I have to do it. I'm doing WW just now, I've restarted it for the millionth time this week. I've lost 3lb so I know it works but I've eaten all my points for today and I'd love to have something to eat now! Not fruit but some delicious white toast with butter on it or some cheese and oatcakes. YUM.

Being on a diet sucks!

Me too! Sick of it. DH eats what he wants and doesn't put on a lb. It's SO frustrating. Yesterday he asked me if I was going to obsess about food/weight loss for the rest of my life. Probably, yes. It's so depressing isn't it?

I'm healthy. I eat reasonably well on the whole. For me it's boredom eating. I know I'm not hungry, but I want to pick at something and usually crave something sweet. I also get really really hungry when it's TOTM.

I lost 4st on a VLCD but have put just over a stone back on over the 18mths since I stopped. I'm convinced I've effed up my metabolism now and my body got used to the c800 cals a day. I don't think it needed that much to run before then anyway hence it being difficult to get a calorie deficit!

Sorry I can't offer advice, but just wanted to say you're not alone here!

CremeDeSudo, all the diet plans like that cause a rebound effect which is why no nutrition advisor would ever in their right mind recommend them. Useless money scams! Best to learn optimum nutrition for you and be mindful of those voices causing a binge!

I know that now. Tbf, I shifted it fast which was what I needed but paying the price now Sad

It's like holding your breath for a long time, then gasping for air and taking in more than you need. Restricted calorie diets should be put in Room 101!
