Hi I suffer with PCOS and am currently taking Clomid, Metformin and totally loosing the plot. Have had this said item for 8 years, but managed to concieve, god knows how after several years of taking Met, when my weight went from nearly 17.5 stone down to 16.5 stone without dieting. My Gynie hasnm't mentioned my weight, but has made reference to the fact that I would need to loose some weight if my treatment extended to IVF, this is a decision that will be made in 10 weeks time.
So tonight I am joining WW I will give it my best shot as either way loosing weight will help reduce my PCOS symptoms. My goal to get to 14 stone, now weigh 16 stone 2 lbs and get pregnant.

I joined WW after ds was born and found it very easy to follow and I have successfully got back to my pre-pregnancy weight in 12 weeks. I am sure if you stick to the plan you can do this in 10 weeks. Good luck

Malinki - Joined WW 4 weeks ago, my leader is scary , but the plan works and I have lost 6 pounds so far, another weigh in tonight. I can't live without fri/sat drinks so I save my points up which works well - good luck!

Malinki - good luck. Could I just ask? PCOS would that explain no real weight loss despite dieting properly? No energy? Odd periods? Fluctuating moods. Things have changed for me in the last year and I am losing my mind....Hope this works for you. My weight has shot back up to 14 .5 stone so know how daunting this can be.Good luck again.

I joined a gym when our second child was 8 months and even now creep out at night twice a week when the children are asleep leaving my husband to baby sit. I am now smaller than I was pre-first pregnancy and feel good about my shape and above all my fitness.

Good luck malinki - I'm trying to count points too at the moment. I lost over 2 stone with WW. I think the points sysytem works because you can save them up or, if your MIL feeds you up a bit too much you can have fewer points or do more exercise the next week.
Hope it all goes well
