bad day today - went to Pizza Hut with dh and ds and dd and pigged out

New day tomorrow though.

Cold is subsiding so should be able to get back on x trainer this week.

Hows everyone else doing?

Mandymoo · 21/01/2007 22:43

Kittlette - in asnwer to your question i am finding it easy during the day but almost impossible during the evening!

2 or 3 times last week i ruined what had been good days by just eating for the sake of it (having a god awful cold didnt help)

How about you?

Mandymoo · 21/01/2007 22:44

Kittylette - sorry!

yellowpoo · 24/01/2007 11:52

I find late afternoon difficult, dd is tired, dd has tea, I smell the food.

So,
have copied a diet from a friend. Gives me portion sizes and quantities of carbs, fat, sugar, cereal, and fruit i can eat. No limits on vegetables, so have started to have prepared veg snacks in the fridge, so i can resist temptation. However, strayed at the weekend, thanks to a delicious tart on offer for pudding, whilst out and about. Diet is from the NHS and suitable for someone still breastfeeding ( however dd, almost weaned, so not needing much milk from me these days).

Still sticking to exercises and walks, although haven't run so far this week. Plan to run for forty minutes at snails pace on Friday morning with dog. Doggus will motivate me to keep on running with waggy tail and enthusiasm.

FatFikAndFugly · 24/01/2007 12:02

Hi MOH here.. have been doing horrendously. Daren't even get on the scales this week. REckon I'm probably back to wher EI styarted

yellowpoo · 26/01/2007 15:53

11st 8lb today, I have lost some weight. Hurray.

Went for a run this morning, with idiotic mutt, but he kept me going and made me feel vry unfit.

Keep it up, it will work. Always tempted not to stick to it all, but it will be worth it.

Mandymoo · 29/01/2007 10:10

have started following SW today and have weigh in tomorrow. How you all doing?

yellowpoo · 30/01/2007 20:08

Hi Mandy, How are you doing? What is SW?

Finding the diet difficult.

Exercise is going better.

Ran for 40 minutes this evening.

Ate: 2weetabix, banana, tuna sandwich, turkey sandwich both with mayo, apple, leftover baby food (pasta with sauce), drank coke zero and innocent lemon juice, but starving - fish potatoes and cabbage for tea.

yellowpoo · 30/01/2007 20:09

Der... sorry worked out SW. Blame on lack of food.

Mandymoo · 30/01/2007 20:30

Hi Yellowpoo - sounds like you're doing well - and all that exercise!

I havent managed to get on cross trainer yet tonight. Weighed in today and lost a pound in a week! Not great but still a loss.

Did 30 mins on cross trainer last night.

Determined to lose 2 lbs this week.

Keep up the good work!

yellowpoo · 02/02/2007 09:55

yellowpoo · 08/02/2007 20:35

Are you still there Mandy moo?

Weigh in day tomorrow??

Need to know Im not the only one trying to lose two stone.

Keep the thread!

mandymoo · 08/02/2007 21:03

sorry not been well this week.

Sounds like you are doing well tho!!

I am weighing tomorrow so will let you know - tbh i've kind of lost the plot a bit with the whole diet and exercise thing but have now decided to go back to basics and just eat healthily, watch the calories and exercise regularly.

Keep up the good work and well done!

yellowpoo · 13/02/2007 20:01

Hi, hope you are feeling better.

Static weight this week. 11st 7lb, but feeling better, even though still cannot fit into my work clothes!

Have another eight weeks before I go back to work.

How did you get on?

yellowpoo · 22/02/2007 20:14

Are you better Mandymoo?

Weigh in tomorrow, exercise going well.

Food intake not too bad. Blew it at seaside picnic today, but hey, need timeout sometimes.

Mandymoo · 23/02/2007 21:36

sorry not been on here in a while but both dd and ds have been ill for what seems like forever!

Diet is ok but not brill and ive managed a little bit of exercise. Now weigh 10 stone 12 lbs.

Starting again in earnest on Monday! Yeah yeah!!!

Yellowpoo - sounds like you're doing well!

yellowpoo · 06/03/2007 20:56

Hi mandymoo, you are doing great. I have been a bit lax this week, but since I started have now lost a stone and am down to 11st 3lb.

I have three weeks until I return to work, but despite the loss of the stone, there is no way i am going to fit into my work clothes.

I think i was at my smallest ever b4 I became pregnant with DS.

Mandymoo · 20/03/2007 09:47

well i am still 10 stone 12 but tbh i have done nothing to help myself - no exercise as too knackered after going back to p/t job and far too much wine and crapola food

However, because i have started to be able to fit into some of my old clothes, this has given me some motivation to kick myself up the arse and get on with it - i "only" have a stone to shift after all.

Anyway, just thought i would report back in and thanks for all your messages!
