I've just decided that today is the day I actually do something with regard to my weight... I'm 5"7 and most definitely overweight. I had my son 13 weeks ago and whilst I understand its 9 months on 9 months off I'm finding it difficult to look at myself... Im bf but that having little to no effect on my weight. Anyway my biggest vice by far is sugar... Sugar in and on everything (where sugar isn't appropriate salt is).. If I were to cut sugar out completely would I see an effect quickly?? X

I cut out all processed foods and added sugar 7months ago, went from size 18/20 to 10/12. Very happy with the results! I'm also doing 16:8 everyday and really love it. It didn't affect my milk supply.

I think it means 1600 calories 5 times a week and 800 twice a week.

16 8 can refer to only eating within an 8 hour window each day. You eat until you are full at each meal, don't snack and make sure your meals fall into the 8 hour window. The 16 is the 16 hours a day you aren't eating.

So I don't have breakfast, have my lunch at 12, my evening meal at 5 and a small snack supper at 8 if I'm hungry, then nothing til lunch again.

You could have a late breakfast at 10, lunch at 1 and dinner at 6.
