Hi, I've been trying to loose weight for years, I couldn't even manage it for my wedding last year but dh is finally being helpful and I've managed 2 days in a row on track! Woo!

I thought I'd start a thread and hopefully we can help each other stay motivated and pass on any hints and tips along the way. Doesn't matter which diet or how far away the goal line is- we can all get there!

Hello, I'll join you! I had a sharp shock when I weighed myself yesterday and can't believe how big I am... I'm now using my Fitbit, planning to do an exercise DVD a day and am low carbing. My biggest vice is wine, so I'm going cold turkey with that as it's got to the point where I'm drinking most nights and easily having a bottle (or more!) to myself.

I'm bridesmaid for a friend the beginning of next year, and we have a family holiday to Florida booked this November. I want to feel happy in myself and in photos at both these things!

Yeah them scales are a bugger! I've just borrowed a fitbit from a friend are they any good?

Sounds like you have a good plan and goals to work towards. I have a wedding in August but also ttc so the sooner the better!!
