So, last weigh in I was 15st. Next weigh in I was 14.8.

How much have I lost?

Then do it in pounds.
I was 210 (15stone)
What is 14.8 in pounds?

Really struggling to get a definitive answer from a bazillion conversion charts/calculators on the web!!!

Any help appreciated!!!

6lbs, you've gone from 210 to 204.

Thanks. That's what I said.

I'm part of a weight loss group on fb and someone has said that 14.8 is 207.2lbs

Based on 14lbs in a stone. So 14.8x14=207.2.

I get th logic, but that says I only lost 2.8lbs. But HOW can that be when the scales go from 15st to 14.8!!???!!!

15 stone = 14 stone and 14 pounds
14 stone 8 = 14 stone and 8 pounds = 6 pounds less

kilos are easier TBH

0.8 of a stone is not 8 pounds

It's not 14.8, that's where your issue has come up, it's not a decimal.

It's 14x14 then +8.

If you want to convert stones to pounds, you only need to convert the actual stones, any pounds are already pounds.
