Losing weight to get pregnant

Hi everyone :)
My name is Jen, I'm 31 and from the South West of England. Me and my boyfriend of nearly 4 years have decided to (hopefully) have a baby. I have always wanted one and now feels like the right time. To be honest since I turned 31 I've been desperate! The only thing in my way is my weight. I'm 5 ft 7 and just over 15 stone so obese for my height. I want to lose 3 stone before we start trying, which felt fine and achievable and I am registered with Weight Watchers online. I'm down 4 lbs in two weeks which is great, I'm just really struggling. My partner is mostly terrified about this massive life change and unfortunately I suffer from IBS which is triggered by stress, so at the moment I'm just feeling rotten! I just wondered if anyone else lost a lot of weight to get pregnant and how they found it? Getting pregnant is all I can think about and it's driving me a bit bonkers- I don't want to spend however long it takes to lose the weight a wound up mess but I also don't want to try until I've lost some. Any help or advice would be massively appreciated- we haven't really told anyone so I don't have anyone I can really talk to and it's driving me a bit bonkers!
Jen x

You are being v sensible to overhaul your health before embarking on your journey. 3 stone in 6 months is easily do-able - build exercise in to your life (will be easier as weight comes off!) and good luck

Nb I didn't bother about weight before getting pg all those years ago and still curse my lack of foresight
