I've got too squidgy. Anyone want to de-squidge too?

My clothes are too tight and my boobs are dropping

If I start now, I'd like to take a lb off a week.
And have December 22,23,24,25, and 26th off.

Anyone else up for it

I need to de-squidge big time.

Whats the plan?

I need to lose about 2 stone total, but will do it a little at a time!

MrsDoolittle · 24/11/2006 10:38

I'm thinking a GI kind of things as that is the healthiest.

Really it's all about sensible eating though.

I snack too much and eat irregularly.
I don't eat too much, just too often the wrong things.

So basically we need to think of this thread through as a kind of online diary to make us think about what we are eating. What do you reckon?

I have eaten two weetabix this morning.

And I don't have a scales so I am going to use my clothes as my judge.

(I think)

Can I join?! I need to lose a stone, but like you the main goal is to get back into my clothes. I was doing really well getting baby weight off, but now have stalled...

I had 2 oatibix & soya milk for breakfast (good), but then a granola bar while waiting for train (bad - sounds healthy, but main ingredients were butter & sugar, dammit!). Now I've confessed I feel inspired to choose a healthy lunch in the canteen today!

theflumpsmum · 24/11/2006 12:50

I'd love to join too,but I'll be cheeky and start on Monday if that's ok,my dc have been ill for the past 3 weekends so haven't been able to go to their dad's (my ex)and this week they're ok to go ,so as it's my weekend off I'm off out tonight with my partner for a few drinks and a curry(his treat ).

I'm also a little squidgy,I need to lose about a stone,I'm also the eating at the wrong time and picking at the wrong things type of person,I usually skip breakfast as it's a rush getting the kids ready then about half ten, eleven o'clock am ravenous and pick at silly things, then have no lunch cos I'm full, then get hungry again at half four.

I'll bookmark this thread and start first thing Monday ..I promise

For lunch I had cous cous but the additions are a bit strange. I was scrambling round in the cupboards looking for things to put in it.
A chopped up carrot
A handful of raisins
Some walnut pieces
Some sunflower seeds
and topped with Lea and Perrins.

ODD! I wouldn't recommend it but healthy I'm sure

Hmm, interesting couscous recipe! Well, it does sound very healthy!

Well it all went a bit pear-shaped over the weekend (no pun intended...) Went to The River Cafe for lunch on Saturday with DH for my birthday. That is NOT a good place to diet.

But I got back on the wagon yesterday with a trip to the gym, a ham salad for lunch and roast chicken & lots of green veg for dinner. Pretty good so far today as well - Oatibix for breakfast, chicken & vegetable rice for lunch followed by fruit salad. The two gallons of black coffee I've drunk today is probably not healthy, but at least not fattening! (If only I could persuade DS to sleep through...)

I am trying to de-squidge too. Got a special membership for the local authority gyms and pools through a local health promotion, means I can get activities, classes and access to the gym for £1 a go. I had my gym induction today GULP, I even stayed and had a shot of a couple of things even though I wanted to run out the door not on a pigging machine in front of other people.

Gracie14 · 27/11/2006 20:30

Hi all, Definately need to de squidge as well. Could do with losing a stone and a half. Today I had
Breakfast: Yogurt
Lunch: Ham salad pitta bread and yog
Dinner: Roast chicken, salad and hard boiled egg
Snacks: apple , 2x biscuits, 2 spoons of ice cream
So all in all, not a great day! Need to get back to it properly tomorrow. Hopefully going to aerobics tomorrow night. Will let you know

Skribble · 27/11/2006 21:20

I have the choice of aerobics, tai-chi, aerobiking, yoga etc. I said I fancied yoga, nice fitness advisor person said perhaps something more cariovascular eg aerobics . Sweating in leggings in public.

laneydaye · 27/11/2006 21:21

Cardio vascular best for weight loss then you can work on toneing up with yoga... sex is also very good cardio vascular work out.. (so i hear)

Skribble · 27/11/2006 21:32

Ok so sex and yoga should do it, I will tell fitness lady to stuff her aerobics then .
