Hello!
Does anyone else spend ages looking through Pinterest and instagram for inspiration but never do anything to actually change your life?
Well, today is the day i start my transformation into a fit, confident, stylish woman! Does anyone want to join me? I need a friend with a sense of humour who is determined to change their life too :)

I'm married, 33, have 1yr old and 2 yr old boys, need to lose about 3 stone.

I've just had chocolate cake for breakfast and said my goodbyes, ready for the new me!

Well you lot sound lovely And although I wish you all slim I Am glad that there are others feeling the same as me.

I'm starting tomorrow and although I know it's not going to come off overnight (I wish) I am feeling very positive.

So my I'm gunna list includes:
No white carbs (goodbye warburtons toasty loaf)
50 squats, 50 star jumps, as many sit ups, press ups etc as I can manage
Go for a run on every Monday evening so it's out of the way for the rest of the week
Buy a hair dye to cover up grey hairs ( currently look like a tubby badger)
Put a little make up on each day

That's it for now but am hoping small changes to start with will lead to bigger changes.

I'm currently 11,8 and 5,3. Il weigh in on the fb page and here on Wednesday.

If I post something on the wall of the fb group do you know if it will show up on my own fb feed? I don't wants friends reading about how much I weigh every week.

AndThisIsTrue · 26/07/2015 19:51

Oh hello this sounds like my kind of group! I'm 28 and have a 2year old ds, currently ttc no2 and could do with losing 2 stone and generally stop dressing like a grumpy Mum. Have requested to join the fb group.

PersisFord · 26/07/2015 22:50

Yay we are all going to be so glamorous!! I have just eaten my body weight in takeaway curry and had some champagne Grin but will be good from tomorrow. And I painted my toenails and feel LOADS better for it!

Am going to try running with the buggy tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

MurtleTheTurtle · 27/07/2015 14:39

Hello, could I join you please? I had my 5th child 6 months ago (my 5th in just 8 years) and to be honest I don't even recognise my body any more. I am frumpy, my hair is a frizzy mess with roots, I wear ill fitting clothes from ebay to hide the flabby bits and I can't even be bothered with make up most days.

I need to lose a stone and I'd really like to lose a stone and a half. I'm going to try to stop snacking, cut down on portion size and stop drinking alcohol through the week. Sound so simple doesn't it!

Today I have booked a hair appointment, done 15 minutes on my cross trainer and drank a really disgusting spinach and kale smoothie. I feel virtuous. But still frumpy.

PersisFord · 27/07/2015 16:03

5 children murtle?!? I bow before you!! That smoothie sounds rank, but am sure it is antioxidanting you as I type this. You will prob look about 14 tomorrow.

I ran 3.5k with the buggy, was tough as nails! I used to do half marathons (well, a half marathon!) before the kids. But am snuggled up with the baby, who is snuffling and hiccuping, and although they fuck your bodies up they are worth it, aren't they?

Big love to you all

PersisFord · 27/07/2015 16:04

Oh, and 76.5kg this morning. Think my scales are a bit random tbh!

Maximo1 · 27/07/2015 19:01

For the love of all that is sacred why is it raining in July!!!! After all my good intentions I have had the laziest day, I don't drive so we have been stuck in the house and by 5pm I am semi ashamed ( not really) that I had a glass of wine! However I did paint my toe nails the vilest shade of pink you ever did see, I danced around in the kitchen to up town funk much to the delight of mini Max and I have pretty much eaten dust! I'm classing the wine as one of my five a day and going to soft play in the morning which I am going to use like a boot camp. There must be calories to burn in that ball pool.
Just having a bath or baff as we say in Yorkshire and going to exfoliate until my cellulite pleads for mercy.
Hope you have all had a good day ladies.

cosmicglittergirl · 27/07/2015 19:54

Hoping to join!

Have a 22 month old and a 5 month old, need to lose about half a stone, but mainly pull the tummy back in, it's such a pooch.

So far I have:
Cut out chocolate and biscuits.
Been going to Pilates.
Trying to walk quickly with the double buggy.
Today I tried a bit of the 30 day Shred with Jillian, didn't do so well...

Maximo1 · 27/07/2015 20:00

Cosmic that jillian is a cowbag! She looks at me with pity when I attempt to follow her routine.

Cecyhall · 27/07/2015 20:04

Can I join your group please? My name on FB isn't a proper name though (and my profile isn't really a proper one, I don't really use Facebook) so I don't want you to think I'm a weirdo! I'll request but PM me if you want to check or anything

cosmicglittergirl · 28/07/2015 11:11

Maximo, yeah she's a bit intimidating!

Velvetbunny · 28/07/2015 13:02

I've requested to join the fb group! Got a stone to lose and a 15 month old so can't really call it baby weight any more Grin

DreamingOfADifferentMe · 28/07/2015 18:02

Hello all, I've just found the page on FB and requested to join. Like you all, I'm desperate to ring in the changes. I have another thread on here, which is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/weight_loss_chat/2430738-Officially-my-heaviest-and-time-to-change-Anyone-with-me?pg=1

Week one done and 4lbs done. Here we go!

Maximo1 · 02/08/2015 14:42

Not sure if anyone is still on here but I'm going to keep posting to give myself a kick.
After a positive start to last week it turned to shit on Thursday. I have eaten and drank my own body weight in unhealthiness. Hasn't helped that I have had a lot on in terms of socialising but still it's not really an excuse and am feeling so fed up with myself.
Anyway new week new start. Have commuted to go for a run tomorrow night and she has said she will kick my arse if I pull out. She is a bit scary when it comes to keeping fit so I won't dare not go. Weighing in at 11,8 today so will check back in next Sunday.
Have a good week all

SillyOldElfBackToYourself · 03/08/2015 18:49

Hi,can i join please? I have a lot more weight to lose than the rest of you though. I have asked to join the Facebook group too.

I am 38 and I have a Dd age 4 and a Ds aged 2. I am the heaviest I have ever been Sad I feel uncomfortable, frumpy, unfit and mortified about how big I am.

I can't afford to go to the gym and I have no childcare anyway so I am going to try to do the 30 day shred again. I usually manage about four days Blush and I have been following the body coach on Facebook and Instagram and signed up for the free emails for tips but I could never afford to sign up properly.

I have a serious cola addiction and I am going to try to drink a lot more water and I am in the cupboard snacking all day so I am going to try to cut that out or choose better snacks and also try to have a better, more filling breakfast like an omlette or something instead of toast with a slice of butter and jam and cereal

SpringtimeSun · 03/08/2015 21:54

I too have requested to join FB, youngest (and last, Lol) is 6months now so it's time to get serious, Lol
