I had a bit of a slip-up over the weekend in that I went back to my old ways for a couple of days. I think it will show when I next weigh myself. Thanks for the chart Heavybee, good luck everyone.

Sorry Pesme, I've just sent you a test message to see if it gets to you! It's 15.55 on Tuesday. If it doesn't appear maybe you could give me your email again (a bit at a time if you like), I may have noted it down wrongly.

hi, 10 6 this week - my christmas goal is looking realistic again!

don't give up tortoise. i have been trying to lose weight on and off for 2.5 years and only this time have i managed to stick at it. i was 12.7 when i started.

Smalline · 22/11/2006 12:00

How right you are Liv321, made me stop and think. Well the scales have been very kind to me this week, have managed to stay the same. Must say though, have drank lots of water and eaten a pear everyday this week so far, flushes out my system.

Well, despite a few lapses this week I've managed to stay at 9st 5lb, which is a relief. It's very difficult to lose weight at this time of year when the primitive bit of us says "lots of food to hibernate on, please". So, if we're losing at all or staying the same we can be happy, and shouldn't kick ourselves when we're a bit up either. Look at the longer term, and in the mean time don't buy the croissants....

HeavyBee · 22/11/2006 13:08

Tortoise, don't be sad, this is just a bad patch, and it will improve! You're still a whole stone lighter than your start weight. Think of that, and be proud of yourself - if I'd managed that much in the time I'd be ecstatic.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 22/11/2006 14:44

Thanks everyone.
I just annoy myself with my lack of self control around food. I'm suprised ive kept a stone off and am pleased with that.
Well i will lose weight this week!! Pretty much no food in the house and no money to buy any with.
Another achievement is that i now drink more water than squash and have started having a options hot choc each evening.

HeavyBee · 28/11/2006 10:51

This week's page is here and last week's chart will also be on its way in the next couple of minutes - good luck, everyone!
