I am new to this and I know there has been a lot of threads on this recently on here but just thought I would share my experience with anyone that's interested.
I thought I would write a review on Paul McKenna Gastric Band Hypnosis.
After losing over 6 stone with WW and struggling as put nearly two back on and never want to be back at that point, thought id try his book/DVD.
Followed it to the tea and read the book twice and then on Monday night went into the spare room and put in my earphones and listened to the pre-op then the surgery and relaxed and started to follow his instructions of counting down, I felt very strange very relaxed my body felt almost tingly, but could here everything he said and remained awake but so relaxed it felt like I was dreaming, although I could hear everything and opened my eyes once or twice to make sure I was definitely awake its was a strange but dreamy feeling, when at the end he counted down from 10 I opened my eyes and felt lovely and relaxed.
I went to bed shortly after that and had a great sleep, as usually not a good sleeper, got up for work the following morning at 4.30 and felt quiet energetic, breakfast time came and went didn't feel hungry so never ate then about 11 o clock felt slightly peckish and a bit light headed as have a active job so had a small bowl of cereal ( in a sugar size bowl) finished it didn't feel overly full like I thought I would, but not hungry either, as the day went on I was at work until 7.pm so about 3.pm had a small sandwich on my break usually id have 4 slices of bread as its small Warburton's wholemeal bread but only made two with a slice of turkey and salad in them, and a packet of small quavers crisps, when my day was over went home my OH had already had his tea I didn't feel hungry at all and had nothing else.
I had drunk water through the day, and usually I live for meal times but think that's sometimes my problem is that i eat because we have been programmed to eat Breakfast then Lunch then Dinner even when at times I probably not hungry and was eating for eating sake as its just habit, like the book says eat when hungry stop when full so I am going to try this method and see what happens, I did get weighed on the night I listened to the DVD so will post again soon to let anyone interested know the results.
