Why can't I eat well AND exercise regularly AT THE SAME TIME?!

Sorry for SHOUTING, I'm cross with myself. All my life I either exercise regularly OR eat well. I can't seem to discipline myself to do both at the same time. At the moment I get up before the kids and run on the treadmill for half an hour every weekday but then by the afternoon I'm 'rewarding' myself with all kinds of bad stuff. Also, I start the day healthy and get worse and worse as it goes on. Has anyone been there done that and found a sensible way out? Please kick me up my not too wobbly backside with some common sense advice!

I am using a fitbit to log my steps and I am also weighing myself and recording it on the fitbit app every morning, this is keeping me very focused on my weightloss goal. I look at the charts several times a day and don't want to mess up my progress by eating silly things or not keeping up with the exercise.

Good luck

Just don't buy the bad stuff!

I'm an avid runner and god there are days I just want to eat everything insight!!! But if I over eat I get runners tummy... Not nice. So that puts me off.
Every time you crave something why don't you go and do something else
Quickly? A ten min workout video on YouTube maybe? Just need to break the cycle. I used to be an awful binge eater since my teens and now I don't but you have to find a way of stopping yourself

Yes that's true, I don't have bad stuff in the house generally. If it's not there you can't eat it is a good rule.
