I wish I knew... I'm losing weight at the moment but the evenings are my real weak spot. I get the kids to bed by 7.15pm and all I can think about is making a coffee and eating chocolate. I've trained myself pretty much out of eating crap at all other times, but still stuck in the evening - so if you find out, let me know!

Hobbies....I know it sounds sad but doing something you enjoy rather than chores makes me forget about treats. Last night made Santa sacks....no wine, no crisps.

i tend to have a bowl of cereal, or some weight watchers bread toasted with cup of tea

gingerninjasmum · 07/11/2006 12:00

easier said than done but I have found that doing my nails helps as its difficult to eat without smudging the polish lol.maybe do different things each evening...pluck eyebrows, exfoliate(helps that orange peel lol) etc. be interesting to see other ideas as the evenings are my weakness too!

SSSandy · 07/11/2006 12:00

sit on an exercise bike till you go to bed?!

mogwai · 07/11/2006 21:48

clean your teeth after you put the kids to bed

don't buy crap and don't buy wine

pepperpots · 07/11/2006 21:57

Keep the kids up all night

MammyM · 08/11/2006 09:53

Glad to hear I'm not alone with this one! Can you get out in the evenings after they've gone to bed? I went swimming with my sister the other night and felt very smug at 'exercising' rather that slobbing out! Also I advocate hobbies that are not conducive to alcohol and food mess such as card making, knitting and cross stitch!

bctmum · 08/11/2006 09:56

Me too - just love tea and biscuits - not good but so nice after a busy day.

Wintersun · 08/11/2006 21:21

I love your idea sssandy.
Sit on an excercise bike from 8 til 11.30.
How slim would I be within a couple of weeks?

JunkInMyTrunk · 08/11/2006 21:22
