Has anyone had hypnotherapy to help with emotional eating?

Did it work? I have a very bad relationship with food and I have tried many diets and gyms and classes and nothing has changed my way of thinking. I always fall back into my old habits of comfort eating.

I'm wondering if hypnotherapy could help me.

I am very interested in this myself I don't mind if it's no to food or yes to excerise but something's got to change soon like to hear ppl's views and experiences

I did once. It made absolutely no difference. Was never very convinced by the whole session though.

Did you only have 1 session Rachel?

How did it go Tea?

Yes, I do Paul McKenna CDs. I find they work brilliantly. Been using them for years. The best one for me was inserting the hypno gastric band. Now I cannot eat more than a very small sandwich plate of food. Inserted it early last year and it has worked ever since.

I had an eating disorder for years and hypnotherapy was the only thing that helped me. I had 4 sessions in all. 2 to stop binge eating in the first place and two top up sessions when I was under stress and could feel symptoms coming back.
