Anyone been on citalopram?

My doc has put me on 10mg to start with, I started them on Monday and I'm wondering if anyone had and weight loss/weight gain on these. I need to lose about 5 stone so kind of hoping I get some weight loss with these tablets

Hi Mummy, I'm on citalopram - it's an antidepressant so not directly linked to weight loss or gain. I have gradually lost about 1.5 stone while on it, from 11 to 9.7. It's happened in short bursts while using MFP, but I've managed to keep it off for the most part. I don't find that citalopram makes it easier or more difficult to lose weight.
