Hi,
I'm just wondering if there is anyone with thyroid problems trying to lose weight? I try to get out for a run at least 3 times a week, but my eating habits don't do me any favours Sad, i tend to go through phases of binge eating when i'm down. I've put roughly a stone on in 4 months Shock and i'm really scared about putting any more on,I had previously lost two stone and was at really happy about it!!
TIA x

Not me, but my DH has done it and he's done it successfully this time. Personally i think his success is down to not worrying about weight. In fact, he hasn't weighed himself in months.

What he has don't though is to keep a guide on his waist size from his belt. Blokes do find this easier though as he tends to wear the same belt often.

He's also taken to cycling, and really pushing himself and he's stopped having chocolate, crisps, cakes, biscuits and fizzy drinks.

If you are binge eating, you are going to find this hard, doubly so if you have an under active thyroid. Is there a way you could address this?
